We bought some seeds yesterday to plant in our garden. Lots of kale, brussels sprouts, fava beans, and runner beans. We’ve already had lots of radishes growing, and some fun carrots to plant. I imagine we might get a tomato start from my in-laws, and maybe some kind of squash. We want to try potatoes in a sack this summer too! I’m excited to see our garden grow, especially since I’ve heard rumors that it will be a long and hot summer. What are you growing this summer?

WOW, that’s amazing! I wish I had a place to grow a few vegetables… I have a little herb garden and adore all kinds of plants!
We had some chives from our garden today, and we have one tomato plant going, so far. Lots more to do. Have a great weekend.

I remember my father’s garden…cherry tomatoes, rhubarb, peas, beans…but I don’t have his green thumb.
I was planing to buy today some tomato plants, carrot and cucumber seeds. But I need a help to plant all this and my boyfriend is pretty lazy for practical things :(

I’ve planted my cool weather crops, but then we’ve had freaky 87F+ HOT DAYS here lately that it’s tempting to plant everything else, but I know it’s Northern Nevada and May’s snow storms haven’t hit yet. So I’ll be good. And patient. big sigh.
