Glory Be!

Yesterday, I fulfilled my childhood dream of owning a 96 pack of crayons.  I don’t know why it has taken me this long to purchase my own beautiful choir of colors.  Take that eight pack.  Now I can use names like vivid tangerine, cerise, and purple mountains majesty.

I’m listening to Sufjan this afternoon.  He sings, “Oh life, with your colorful surprises…” Makes me want to draw something scribbly.

  6. I love crayons! I only had 24 colors back when I was in elementary. Now, I keep 8 colors with me. Yesterday, I was babysitting my niece. I gave her some crayons and she asked how old I am, and she said I should have 21 crayons because I am 21 years old. Haha

Have fun with your crayons! Looking forward to more art from you! :)

  8. I LOVE Crayons!! I remember when I was a kid, that was my favorite part of the first day of school, a new box of crayons!! I would color for hours on end too. My grandmother would always give me those jumbo coloring books, and I would plow through them in nothing flat. I totally get the excitement with a your new box of crayons :)
