The Month of March

Isn’t this photograph lovely?  It is the perfect image to kick off the month of March!  This month, spring will come, seeds will be planted, and winter will start melting away.  I hope you plan on visiting often this month, for I have much to share with you, including tips on gardening, bettering your green thumb, more artwork, spring ideas, and perhaps a give-away!

Just for fun, let’s have a poll to get things going?

Whatever your answer, I hope we can all learn more this month and find joy in growing!

  1. Winter doesn’t melt away in March here in Reno…we actually pray for snow and rain so we can make it through the summer. :)

But I am seed shopping…love Botanical Interests’ Heirloom seeds. THE BEST!

  2. Did you get any sticking snow?? I can’t believe we missed it :) Winter in Washington is so unpredictable! Whose window is this? It warms my heart seeing such an image. I’m going to start a balcony planter box in the next few weeks. Any seed suggestions?

    • I can’t believe it snowed either! Hopefully spring can officially start now! I would suggest Zucchini to start! It’s pretty easy, and each plant can make a lot. Also any beans are fun, especially climbing beans! You can plant them under a string trellis and watch them grow. Also carrots are so fun because they are just tiny little things. Love it! Keep me updated what you do!

  3. that photograph is lovely indeed! <3 yay for new seedling and young plants and beautiful flowers xxxx
