Two of my very favorite things include that secret view, and this handsome sweater – both make a rainy day like today not only tolerable, but very enjoyable. Also, Bon Iver’s new album has been our October soundtrack of choice, echoing through tiny headphones, car stereos, and computer speakers on repeat. Have you heard it? It is another wonderful example of geographical music; recounting landscapes and travel, while painting narratives in blues and greens. I don’t fully know why, but this genre of “terrain music” fills me up. Also, it pairs perfectly with the sound of a downpour on windows…
