We’ve done a little swimming with our pup Gracie this summer, and she’s liking the water more and more. We’ve been throwing toys and sticks in the water, letting her practice her cute doggy-paddle.
Also this summer, she has gotten out on her own in the neighborhood twice, and has given us big scares… Luckily Gracie is a bit more “wonder-lust” than” wander-lust.” Since she likes sniffing every blade of grass, we’ve caught her only a couple houses down each time. Sheesh. Both times she was very happy to see us – wagging her tail as if to say, “Oh! You’re here too?! Look what I found!” In other Gracie news, she’s been sleeping under our bed or behind the couch to beat the heat. These days, we mostly just see her tail peeking out.
