Huzzah! I found it!

I found the cooking website and the like-minded chef who I’ve been searching for!  Yesterday, I stumbled upon the Sprouted Kitchen while trying to plan out our groceries and…. Do I even need an argument?  Look at these gorgeous photos taken by the cook’s husband!  That should be enough to want to check her website out!  I love her method of clean whole food, natural flavors, and freshness!  We cook like this as much as we can, but it often takes me a while to find healthy, simple recipes that still taste yummy.  I’m so glad I found this! :)  I’m also trying more and more to eat gluten-free, just because I notice a difference in my tummy when am eating less wheat.  The Sprouted Kitchen has mostly quinoa, bean and lentil recipes that fit perfectly with what I’ve been scouring the internet for!

Sometimes, and often, I want to drop everything and become a cook.  This blog is so beautiful, and the food so delicious, I would love to focus my creative talents into food… It’s so peaceful to be in the kitchen, preparing art that can be eaten.  I like that.  If I didn’t like painting so much, I believe I might be tempted to switch professions.

Last night, I made the bottom two photos for dinner, Quinoa Falafels with Tahini Sauce which were so amazingly tasty!  And today for lunch, I’m making the third photo from the bottom, Caramelized Onion and Greens Tartine.  I can’t wait! (UPDATE: This is AMAZINGLY good!  New favorite!!)  I’ll update with more fun meals I try, but for now, hop on over to the Sprouted Kitchen and get hungry!

  5. Blaze,

I went to SPU and graduated the same year as you… and I stumbled upon your blog a while ago. I’ve loved reading about your creative endeavors! Ironically, I discovered the Sprouted Kitchen last week too. It is so wonderfully, amazing. I laughed when I went to your blog and saw it! Just thought I’d say hello :)
