And Speaking of Riding Bikes…

Jameson and I are slowly recovering from a couple of packed days with visiting college roommates.  J’s college boys road tripped out from L.A., and spent a couple of days with us in our tiny one bedroom house.  We probably looked like sardines in a sardine can, but I digress. :) One of my favorite activities we did consisted of renting Denver’s B cycles and rode the Cherry Creek Trail to the South Platte Starbucks and R.E.I.  It was a perfect summer day for them to see Denver, and they looked super stylish on those red bikes!  We rode a little over eight miles total, and worked up a Chipotle worthy appitite.  We are so thankful they decided to drive out here – they sure livened up our week!  I wouldn’t mind having a house full of boys again! :)

  1. This looks like a perfect day out with friends! There is something so liberating about cycling around a new city to take in the sights, the boys must have had a brilliant time!

I love the illustation you did for your church’s pub bike crawl! The girl at the top reminds me of you!

Hope you are well and glad to see your happy.
(keri smith update – the book is fab, fun filled adventures await me. I think you would love it!)

  2. You get a gold star for putting up with so many boys!

  3. How cool! I didn’t know Denver had rentable bikes. They look even cooler than the rental bikes in Paris :) And oh my gosh I LOVE Chipotle – nature’s most perfect veggie burrito!

  4. Ahhh I can’t believe I didn’t see this post until now! Brings back some solid memories!

P.S. come out to LA soon :)
